Applications:
- Specially developed as a durable fire-resistant sealant for movement joints in façade, wall, floor, ceiling and roof constructions, effectively restricting the spread of fire, smoke and toxic fumes.
- Certified sealant for joints in buildings, homes and public spaces that form part of fire-resistant or fire-retardant constructions and systems subject to stringent fire-safety requirements.
- Fire-resistant top and heel sealing in building glazing systems in accordance with NEN 3576 / NPR 3577.
- Fire-resistant sealing of connection, perimeter and expansion joints between and alongside building and façade elements such as window and door frames, windows, façades, prefabricated components and panels.
- Smoke- and vapour-tight sealing of connections in smoke-extraction duct systems.
- Preventive sealing and filling of pipe, conduit, service, cable and duct penetrations in interior and exterior façades, walls, floors, ceilings and roofs.
- Fire-resistant joint sealing in building-services installations.
Properties:
- Durably and permanently elastic with a maximum movement capability of 25%.
- Certified fire-resistant, non-flame-propagating and forms a safe barrier against the spread of smoke and vapours.
- Excellent application and adhesion properties on virtually all porous and non-porous substrates without primer.
- Neutral, low-odour, acid-free and shrink-free curing; CE-certified silicone system.
- Meets the requirements for burglar-resistant glazing in accordance with the Dutch Police Quality Mark for Secure Housing.
- Good resistance to colour change, UV, weather, water, moisture and ageing.
- Non-corrosive to metals.
- Compatible with direct contact with PVB film in laminated glass and the edge seals of insulating glass units.
- Solvent-free and contains no organic plasticisers.
- Very low emissions, certified in accordance with VOC emission class A+.
