The tape is applied to the fixed part of the vehicle, for example around door apertures. The door can then simply be closed and the vehicle is ready for spraying.
The adhesive layer is deliberately positioned slightly off-centre. This keeps paint away from the adhesive and creates a clean, even and professional paint edge. The positioning also helps produce a soft transition between the existing and newly applied paintwork.
The tape is suitable for both water-based and solvent-based paint systems and withstands temperatures up to 85 °C, making it a reliable solution for professional and demanding refinishing applications.
