Fire Foam is a durable flame- and fire-retardant one-component insulation and installation foam, specially developed for fire-resistant sealing of joints between various building components up to a maximum joint depth of 40 mm. It cures through atmospheric moisture to form a durable foam mass.
Applications:
- Fire-resistant sealing, insulating and filling of seams and connection joints in areas subject to fire-resistance requirements.
- Sealing, insulating and filling pipe and service penetrations through walls, ceilings, roofs and floors.
- Bonding, installing, insulating and sealing insulation boards/panels and sheet materials in roof, façade, wall and floor constructions.
- Sealing, insulating and filling connections around ridges, dormers, chimneys, ducts and bay windows.
- Filling, sealing and insulating cavities and openings in roofs, floors, façades, walls and ceilings.
Properties:
- Tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4, B1 classification.
- Suitable for joints from 8 mm to 30 mm wide.
- Excellent acoustic and thermal insulation properties.
- High yield: approximately 45 litres when freely foamed.
- Low post-expansion after application; tack-free after approximately 8–15 minutes.
- High thermal and acoustic insulation values.
- Good adhesion to concrete, brick, plaster, wood, metal, aluminium, rigid PU foam, polyester, rigid PVC and plastics.
- Consult the relevant test report for application details and classification.
