2K-MMA Rapid-Repair is a two-component methyl methacrylate adhesive specifically developed for structural bonding. It cures at room temperature to form a strong, durable bond suitable for applications subject to mechanical loads.
Thanks to its thixotropic, non-sag formulation, the adhesive can also be applied to vertical surfaces. It can fill gaps of up to approximately 11 mm without slumping. The product bonds to a wide range of substrates, including metals, plastics and composite materials. In many cases, only minimal or no surface pre-treatment is required.
Once fully cured, the bond provides high mechanical strength, good resistance to impact and vibration, and excellent durability. The adhesive also offers good resistance to UV exposure and ageing, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. If required, the cured material can be sanded and subsequently overpainted.
2K-MMA Rapid-Repair is used across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, transport, marine and general industrial applications. It is also suitable for general assembly work where mechanical fastening or welding is less suitable or undesirable.
